no, it won't go to zero, ever, cause HUMANS, a human wanting to die will jump in front of a self driving car at a point where there is NO WAY it could stop in time to minimize fatality or damage. cause PHYSICS! only so fast a heavy ass car can slow down. and only so fast the human body can slow down without resulting in damage from speeds like 60 or 70 MPH
