Industries change constantly and corporations are always looking for ways to cut corners; this isn’t a new concept. I don’t think truck drivers will be done away with all together but I think there will certainly be a lot less in the future if automated trucks are viable. Learn new skills, change industries if you have to, fight as hard as you can for yourself. A corporation doesn’t care about your struggle. A primary goal of many of these corporations is to generate revenue and provide better returns for investors. Trucking and logistics aren’t free from this pattern.
