(please blur my name if you use this) but I am both a programmer (I write AI), artist, and I'm disabled, I agree with most of your video, in fact I tried and failed to make an ethical large scale image generator because I simply can't get it to work.. I like doing what I do with other AI I program (I.E. limiting it's inputs) but for an image generator instead of making it smarter it made it so much dumber... so I'll stick to AI assistance. I'm not a particularly good artist, but I personal think references should be mainly pictures of real life things.. with a few exceptions. Also, as someone 'on both sides of the isle' AI image generation is actually killing itself the more people who use it without saying it's AI generated.. because of my primary reason for not even liking using other peoples art for reference, a copy of a copy of a copy slowly degrades into nothing and without constant human input eventually they just... wouldn't work anymore.. AI can be useful for automating things and giving ideas, but creativity isn't something it can do, it's literally taught in programming 101 that computers don't think, they take input and give output, that's what code does... now AI can be dangerous because it takes in ALL OF THE INTERNET as input and so it has a lot more outputs it can give... but in the end that's still what it is, sorry? (not really)
