I use AI on my own time, for nothing more than my electricity and possibility of having to replace parts. As for why, I get better concepts of what a character could look like for a D&D world I've made, and little more than that. I want to learn, and/or improve, my skills for physical and digital drawing, but as that takes time, I supplement with AI. I will agree on all points in this video, and while I don't think AI as a whole is terrible, I do genuinely think that the current generative AIs are, for the aforementioned reasons of stealing copyrighted work, as well as people's work as a whole. It's just saddening people are losing skills like writing an essay simply because they choose to be lazy. At any rate, best of luck on reaching out to others to keep killing the AI hydra!
