Depends if AI can replace human physical labor, can it replace or just enhance intellectual labor? How complicated of a task can it do? In the construction industry will AI be able to micro manage a project where it doesn't go a cent over budget and doesn't cost a cent more than it needs to be. For instants, an electrician comes in and does specifically what they AI tell him to do. That way the everything is perfectly schedule so nothing is harder than it needs to be and nothing has to be redone. This would take 100's if not 1,000's of man hours out of these projects, just the JM and bidding side of things. The actual labor 1,000's if not 10,000's! Material cost would go down 5-10%
I feel like a lot of people are looking at the consumer side of thing but in reality there has already been so much automation and things are fairly good. How much can AI really improve on, on physical design? It's going to be managing and scheduling that AI will be the best at, we don't need a AI robot to put a seat into a car we already have that.
