I think that the guy who was talking about people being able to work fewer hours (20-30 hours per week) as a result of AI, and make as much or more than they did working 40-60 hours per week is talking about a pie-in-the-sky dream. Companies will STILL figure out how to pay people less money so that they can exponentially increase their profits. The system is corrupt and keeps getting more and more corrupt. If people are forced to work fewer hours per week, the companies they work for will still figure out a ways to pay them (maybe) just enough to pay their most pressing bills in order to keep them in this perpetual enslavement.
