You could have drawn it out (true, maybe tediously, but also maybe hilariously), by pursuing similar lines of thought about ChatGPT saying it was 'interesting' and 'fun'. In the end this comes down to the simple fact that the interface is designed to fake something from the start: i.e. to talk, to respond, to interact *as if* it were a human being, when it isn't.
