Perhaps AI is a part of our natural evolutionary trajectory. The humans involved in developing AI are the mutated samples among us who influence the shaping of a critical evolutionary profile of the species. Maybe whatever our own AI ‘progeny’ will do with us has begun and was written in our genes long before we established genomic science to learn of genetic makeup, DNA sequencing to read the book of life. We just haven’t reached that page and discover the OFF switch just yet and perhaps we never will before we’re indeed switched OFF.
