Creativity comes from emotions the right brain. AI s are analytical so there might be small easy jobs like thumbnails can be made (canva is an example) but real design works are really far-fetched by ai for atleast next two decades (or untill ai started to feel). I mean you still can't do as great designs as good artists in canva even if its really a good software.
