Here is my lay person's opinion. The future will belong to those who own assets.Work will be optional, but we will all get a universal basic income. Inflation will shoot through the roof.The cost of living will be exorbitant for those of us who are not on the Top 10 Richest list.Whatever currency we use will be worthless.Look at the impact that universal basic income has had in former Communist countries, especially Cuba, The Top 10 Richest will have a separate currency like Bitcoin or other crypto which only they will afford and which will protect them from the effects of inflation.They will buy their assets using this currency.Their net worth and their assets will appreciate, while everybody else's will be worthless. Here's the rub. Scarcity creates value.Always has, always will. I think that if we want to survive this and thrive, we have to master AI.This not a new idea. However, we have to pay much, much closer attention to what the Top 10 Richest are doing.
What I really want to know. How could we build wealth in this situation? How would we define value?
