I see this already. AI pulled anomalies and without looking at the details people ran with fraud/improper payments which if they had looked at each anomaly they would have known that they were valid payments. Not to say that some were improper but it was $500 in improper payments out of $2million.
AI is affecting us daily whether they are getting us to pay more for an item due to our searches or look at an AI image that allows them to capture our information.
