Artists don't like it because it's a threat to their self esteem. The AI scare is blown out of proportion its the same when traditional artists condemned digital art. ( some still do) The point is that those so called "artists" should obesses over it, humans "reference" art all the time without permission. A machine is basically modeling after human learning. Imagine if people spent more time focusing on their work than AI witch hunts they'd be better artists. If anything they should be upset with capitalism.
