Thanks for this video series. I am (was?) a novelist, though I haven't written anything in about 3 years. A little while after GPT launched I simply lost all motivation. Not creating anything is miserable, but for some reason I simply haven't been able to find the will. I don't think it's the (perceived) worsening of the financial prospects of being an artist engendered by the rise of generative AI. I think it was the realization that these people will never stop. They think themselves entitled, not just to the product of artist' work, but to the skills artists spend years cultivating, at the click of a button. It's why they get so angry when you tell them 'no'. I don't know if their disdain for art and artists comes from a misdirected sense of self-loathing due to their obvious desire to *be* an artist that can't be realized because they refuse to actually take the time to learn how to do it. Oh well, I'm rambling. In any case, I think I'm going to take this tutorial you made and see if I can draw something today.
