One sign carried by a WGA striker said: "See what happens when you don't have great writers?" He then cited the show `The Idol' as an example of bad writing by mediocre writers.
He failed to talk about all of the terrible crap that the so called "great writers" have been delivering which is one reason for entertaining the idea of AI in the first place.
Great writers don't deliver sh!tty scripts for sh!ttier programming. Great writers would not help to drive a billion dollar industry into the dirt.
