There's another reason as well: running AI is currently _outrageously_ expensive because of how much energy it uses. And any additional bit of data that it needs to process adds to those costs. It is estimated that Google spent OVER A MILLION DOLLARS in the last year alone _just_ on processing cost for people saying "please" and "thank you" to ChatGPT (and thereby implicitly prompting ChatGPT to process that data and reply in kind) 😂
