I'm an English major and it's really soul-crushing to see industries I loved and wanted to be part of succumbing to mass-producing AI trash. Whenever I suspect a company has used AI, I stop using it. This entire issue has honestly made me want to "quit living" (or whatever you're allowed to say on Youtube). Writing is my life. Without that, I don't even know what to do with myself.
