The arguments that AI wont make work obsolete are so disingenuous when they bring up examples from last century. The industrial revolution displaced laborious work, it was just convenient that computers were also invented and a lot of jobs were spawned from it. AI has the potential to replace cognitive jobs that require reasoning and judgement, if that happens there is no where for humans to go for jobs.
