It seems like the best option for the Uk and EU is to let America destroy itself pursuing this massive scale "AI" fantasy, and instead to take a step back to work out real, practical applications on smaller scale AI that are likely to work, energy efficient and centred on improving quality of life rather than pumping wealth and power to the rich.
