Hi first time viewer here, though if give my 2 cents on the matter Ai in the creative space is something I've come to thoroughly despise, especially when it comes to art. I used to think that it was really cool and that it'd let people get a representation of their ideas on paper without spending 100s of hours learning how to draw or comission an artist and paying them 50-100 $. In other words a good thing as art should not be limited to only those who can afford to spend the time and/or money to make/have art made for them. Whilst still keeping normal artist around to make actual quality art and commissions. However the way AI companies are blatantly steeling th art from artists and remaking it in a copy paste like fashion as they train their models on it, is straight up criminal and disgusting. And that's not even to mention how these very same companies are pushing to out right replace human creativity. Instead of carving out a niche or augmenting it they are trying to monopolize it, making it so that they are the only ones capable of making a profit of it. I don't think that ai necessarily is evil incarnate, but I think it's a real god damn shame how it's being put to use. The aim with AI should be for it to augment and enhance our creativity capabilities, it should be a tool as any other aimed to enhance creativity. Something which granted might more applicable to writing rather then drawing. As I feel ai is a lot better suited to to give ideas that a writer can turn into "art" instead of looking at ai slop art for references.
