Such things should carry a penalty of imprisonment for life as free manual labor.
Since these things (videos, quasi news etc.) are around even from before internet, it's no wonder that so many people (probably even my self on some topics) are mislead all the time.
Politicians catering to such voters more and more over the past 15 years just increased the problem.
AI in that case just an extra cherry on top so don't blame the glorified-pattern-matching-and-or-prediction-algorithms too much...
In the end it's our society that doesn't punish and even encourages such behavior and content creation.
