as a professional in the mental health field, my job is unlikely to be taken by AI. Why? Because even if we assume a future where an AI can do absolutely everything I can, and do it better, my job will still be safe for the singular purpose that insurances will not reimburse services done by an AI. They still need a person they can hold accountable and sue if things don't work out. Good luck holding an AI accountable! but me? I can be sued all day long. Insurances like that.
