What really keeps me awake at night is, if we reach AGI and say, survive, what do we do when there is no purpose left? My best guess would be, try to merge with the AGI become "godlike" and explore the universe.
So, either we die from AI or we become something godlike. It all boils down to those 2 scenarios imo. Any other opinions?
