As an ACTUAL artist, and one that specializes in digital art specifically and knows many photographers as well, god that was stupid when he was like “wElL AI ArT iS a ToOl” it actually can be in limited circumstances used as a tool, (for example, while I don’t generally do this, I was having trouble visualizing the angle for a specific image in my head so I used AI to help me plan out the perspective, but still drew it myself, added extra things, rarely followed any part of the image outside of the perspective and fixed glaring anatomy mistakes) or in cases where you use it to help fill some in-betweens in a character concept turn-around for the perspective and such, however how this dude is using it, is not as a tool, it’s just straight up as theft. It’s like arguing that using something like grammarly to fix your grammar and pick better word choice for your paper is the same as asking chatgpt to generate a whole paper. In any case for my fellow artists, make sure to put AI poison in your art(seriously google it if you wanna protect yourself, there’s a few different kinds)
