Ai might be evil; it might spell the extinction of the human race. But if you restrict Ai, you are granting exclusive superpowers to people who wish to take everything from you. Any government that puts significant legal restrictions on Ai ability (artistic or otherwise), will have NO CHANCE in economic or military competition against any government that has no such restrictions. Maybe Ai will bring doom, but if we restrict Ai, doom will come much faster at the hands of people who seek to destroy you.
