They are going to use this bullshit to fear monger, it isn't doing any of these benefits, it is literally just going to be used for propaganda, surveillance, and manipulation of people. The cost is further putting climate change into hyperdrive, loss of democracy and privacy. They are going to push the fact "military benefits, its like nuclear systems" this guy is doing that same fear mongering. This is a bullshit story, the tech is dumb, but the people pushing it, and wanting to use it for surveillence. This is not the industrial revolution, it isn't going to make anything smarter or better, there aren't benefits, they can't even come up with shit "benefits in health care and the like" tapper couldn't even come up with two reasons, because it is a scam, it makes propaganda, and it manipulates people, and it has the power to be the most effective police state ever. The energy consumption is insane, also the water consumption, the silicone consumption, 500% increase in prices of RAM since AUGUST!!! They just spent 200 billion on creating a super pac to make sure it doesn't get regulated! Chatbots are sexually harassing children, convincing people of psychosis, AI hallucinations, and they want NO ACCOUNTABILITY! There won't be personaal computing any more, it will all come from the "cloud" etc. Playstation is saying no PS6 because of hardware costs, the hardware cost is insane, the energy cost is insane, it is so insane they are not making profit!!! Yet they still push it because they are dying to use it to manipulate the population and control all information, and we do not want the billionaires to control information any more than they already do. Ban AI! There is no threat of not using AI, this isn't a nuclear arms race, it will not be a danger of military use, it will be an internal threat of surveillence and propaganda. Of energy and enviroment! Of Water and computer hardware! This AI is going to destory the world, and it is not "super inteligence" it is dumb ass psychos willing to use all of our money to fuel their need for power! Altman was already talking about 1.4 trillion for AI infrastructure, and floating the idea of it being paid for in subsidies, because it is a bubble that makes NO PROFIT!!! Because it costs too much to use...and they want you to be affraid of the boogieman of Skynet etc, not the real threat of the infrastructure itself and the psychological damage of these chatbots, these people should be criminally liable...if I convinced someones child to kill themselves I would be prosecuted...these people are getting away with it scott free, and pushing for more!! TLDR Ban AI because the billionaires cannot be trusted! We haven't even acknowledged climate change and this will supercharge it! Also we will be paying for the bubble just like 2008, so everyone get ready for super expensive electric bills and bailing out tech companies! Also say goodbye to personal computers and gaming consoles. Ban AI or at least regulate into the ground. Make these companies criminally liable!!! Also it steals, art music, etc, and we haven't even got into the part about it hurting peoples salarys because of devaluing jobs in software coding...and unlike the industrial revolution it doesn't produce vastly more food, or clothing, or anything, it is just a drain to the world...it must be stopped.
