The biggest controversy for me is that throughout millennia of human history, art changed so much. We wouldnt have many art currents if history didnt influence the lives of many, for example impressionism, which started as a clear separation from accademic art.
There is so much to the subject. With AI however we are stuck in what alrrady exists.
No novelty, no real creativity, no humanity, no value. Which is why either make human art more valuable, or make AI not equal to real human artists
