We are on the cusp in the workplace and the only reason AI has not been heavily adopted and is replacing jobs now is due to a lag in take up by companies, there is going to need to be a new economic model for sure, yes AI makes mistakes in coding but it can write reasonable code already in a fraction of time. At the moment software engineers use there skills to simply check some of the code written by AI, and the AI is getting beter and better by the day.
