If millionaires replace professionals—or rather, skilled and technical workers—with robots, it will be like shooting themselves in the foot. If the working class doesn’t earn money and has no purchasing power, Elon Musk and all of them will end up without enough customers… they live off what they sell; they’re business owners, and if there are no people buying, they’ll save on employees and raise productivity, but there won’t be anyone to buy from them. Those millionaires live off what they sell, and if they don’t sell, nobody buys… very different from technicians and professionals who live off their knowledge and skills, which are essential. Besides, for now AI still needs someone to operate it. What is ridiculous is that they don’t pay decent wages or taxes and, brutally, they don’t just want money—they want power! Tax the millionaires!
