How does AI get agency? It needs a sense or theory of selfhood before it can seek to survive. If no one tells AI to do something, why/how would it possibly do anything?
I have never seen the slightest hint of ego or selfhood or agency in an AI model. It would have to he programmed in artificially by a human or other egoic entity.
