"none of my friends got fired, so it's all cool. AI didn't really affect us a lot" is such a skewed perspective coming from a country like India that's teeming with unemployment. There was so much left out in the conversation it's disappointing. Indian youth are suffering. "oh just learn these tools, look at more demand low supply roles" is an extreme oversimplification of the issue and honestly a failing optimistic perspective.
