Lowk it’s survival of the fittest.
Think about it, 100 years ago when the car first came out (fact check me, I know I’m wrong) some people hated the idea. Some would say it would never replace horses or didn’t see a point of using it. But the ones who adapted ended up leading the way, while the rest were doing their best to catch up. Same with the internet. Some said it was pointless and a simple fad that would die out. Then we have those who leaned into it and built a whole new era for humans. AI (AGI is not available to the people, yet) is no different. This will be a whole new era where it will reshape everything from new jobs to the way we live in our day to day. It will be here to stay whether you like it or not. So either you evolve with it or risk falling behind like those people who have trouble using a computer. With every big new leap humans make, there will mainly be two groups of people: the ones who adapt and thrive, and those who resist and get left behind. So yeah, I’d like to view AI as a positive opportunity that you can grab or let it scroll by you. Mainly wrote this because people seem to view AI negatively and you know I could be wrong, but it doesn’t hurt to view AI a positive innovation for humans to evolve into something better. (i hope)
