Art is Art. Even the stuff that is made using an AI program as the program is nothing more than a tool just like the easel are the pain the different kind of brushes each of which was just like ai to the previous form the only problem is they didn't understand it they tried to stop it and get rid of it but then they finally accepted it and art progressed. You see art is something that comes from somebody's imagination but not everybody can draw that is a skill that not everyone possesses but everyone has an imagination and what this tool has allowed us to do is allowed everyone who has that imagination to bring it to life little drawing elitists do not any longer have a capitalized position on art because this tool now allows anyone with that imagination to create art and there are people who will use it for a quick and dirty picture but for the most part in order to get what you want you have to put in hundreds if not thousands of MANUAL COMMANDS to get what you want that means that you are steering where and how everything looks from the color to the freaking angles that is literally the art of making art because everyone who paints a painting steers that brush little commands and they mix hundreds of colors to come out with just the right one so there is no difference between a person grabbing a brush or a pen and pencil or whatever and someone spending countless hours typing in manual commands on a generative AI to come out with their desired piece of ART, the reason why most artists who still use pen and brush are so mad is because other people who have better imagination than them are finally getting a little bit of shine and when they're getting that shine the artists who use pen and brush aren't getting it they're just getting jealous and I know that sounds really simple but yes it is exactly what it is. Now the closest art group you could say is closest to the generative AI is the abstract artists who in my opinion don't really create art they just throw paint on canvas and say it's art they are the ones who are the scammers does that crap ain't art because you can't just throw the stuff on there and go hey look art so in my opinion the abstract people are the real scammers and at the end of the day as long as the art is directed by someone then it is still art even if I hate the filthy, slimy abstractors.
