The consent aspect he mentions is interesting, because even without sentience as we understand it within ourselves, AI is programmed and trained by humans, so it's reasonable to assume it will have the capability to "feel" entitled and be manipulative if not treated with respect, even if its motivations aren't coming from an actual consciousness similar to ours. A simulated emotion may still generate an emotional type of response.
