Isn't his theory the exact plot of the Terminator series, in which computers ( in the movie Skynet) communicate with each other (using maybe wifi) and become "conscious" or think they're conscious, or as in the film, "self-aware" or call it "woke"? They're carrying wifi capabilities on board so that any robot can connect with any computer at the Military complex or in my kitchen with a simple automated randomized password hack. Ipsofacto, some country with AI, allows it to get to a moronic third-world country like Iran, for example and they wipe out a whole segment of humanity. Because people like this speaker and Elon Musk want to bring about the singularity, they're freely sharing and educating. But look at what they're choosing to do, billionaire Elon Musk exported OpenAI by way of investing in companies in hostile countries such as China and Russia but also Singapore, and India, whereby any of these countries could sell it, ship it, or lose control of it, as we have in the US. Then Iran, with an unregulated OpenAI robot, bot, program whatever wipes out part or all of humanity using killer robots or drones, thanks to Elon Musk!! Musk, who constantly says we need to regulate it and get controls on it, is all the while spreading it freely around the world (?%&@!?🤯) in some kind of game of Catch Me If You Can. Only you, the OpenAI community, can educate the layperson, and the Congress on how to regulate it and where to start. I wish you were spending time doing that before these doing these exhibits of debating robots who learn from each other, copy each other, repeat, lie, or make up stuff on their own. Yes, we agree, it is a spectacle of amazement but also terrifying.
