This is absolutely not a defense of AI art however I think where people who are using it are coming from is the frustration at not being good enough to create the thing that you want to create. Especially as a beginner it can be really frustrating when you have a great idea in your mind but when you try to put it on the page it comes out as a mess. The more that you practise the better you get, but at the beginning it’s really hard to put out anything that you’re actually proud of.
