US oil refineries used to be calibrated specifically for venezuelan oil until cesar chavez took over; the refineries have since recalibrated their processes and now are unable to take in oil from oil from venezuela even if they were to somehow bring production back up to pre chavez levels. venezuela is screwed for the next three generations, and thats if they correct their situation tomorrow. venezuela is another case study in why communists should never be allowed to control anything. the toll in human misery and death is totally avoidable, but in the hands of communists it is inevitable and inexcusable.
