Too bad this doesn't protect art or poison models in real world situations and it is not practical for it to do so. I'm an artist, but I'm also a programmer.
This is what you would theoretically have to do, in order for it to work
1a. Apply Glaze/nightshade all your works
1b. Apply glaze and nightshade to all the thumbnails.
2. Upload them all.
3. Every single time AI software updates, immediately take down all your work, wait for glaze /nightshade to update.
4. Reapply Glaze.
5. Upload all your work.
6. Delete any downloaded copy from other computers that has outdated glaze/nightshade
It's not practical! You can't even do 1b. This is an academic curiosity. Nothing more. We haven't seen any models get poisoned by this. It won't work "eventually."
