The funny thing is that people think they can become anything after doing a few hours or so of work , every guy I met in school always used to ask me why am I so much smarter than them at studies and I would tell I am not I just worked as hard as possible and I would still not rank in the top 5 in my school I would barely make it to top 10 at the end of highschool and that too only because I had the highest marks out of anyone when it came to English , it is also harder for me to concentrate on studies because I have maldaptive dreaming and adhd(not sure about this but a doctor friend of mine has told me I have adhd so … ). For every “masterpiece” a person creates or “award” they get on stage are countless hours of trying , failing and being frustrated . A quote that beautifully represents all of this is - “ the master has failed more times than the beginner has even tried” Artists are not a “different breed” , they are just normal humans who honed their skills as much as possible , it takes possibly weeks or even months of trying to just make one art , they have to live off irregular income if they aren’t famous or side jobs . But they still do it because it fuels their imagination and pushes them to “transmit” their inner thoughts onto the paper . But I wouldn’t consider an “ai artist” to even be a real artist because they are not transmitting their feelings and thoughts into their art , they are commanding a robot to do their tasks for them , that is not art
