I personally don’t think coding will go obsolete, but I don’t agree with your arguments as well.
How long did it take to create this app ? 5m ? How long will it take for engineers to develop a complex application as you described ? Months and years of human hours.
Give AI a fraction of that, let’s say two weeks, and you’ll get just as complex applications, and now it’s only a question of how much resources you can allocate for this models to increase context capacity, I bet you it won’t cost the fraction of the million (possibly millions) dollars per year burn rate that engineering teams require.
It’s a matter of time until the demand for SWEs is as low as we can all remember it ever was.
