Ai should be a tool, it should make art easier. Digital animation is easier because it skips the tideous and let's artists do the creative.
Give me AI to promt generate custom brushes. Give me AI that can bulk arrange, cut, and export my layers as a sprite sheet. Give me better selection tools and fills. Give me good automatic retopology and weight painting.
Funny how the supposed point of AI is to get art faster and more efficiently, yet barely anyone is developing things that would make art faster and more efficient.
