>Ai is thief
This argument I keep hearing over and over and over. So, tell me, since you are drawing monster hunter, are you not committing theft of copyright by Capcom? You don't own the rights to the character Puki-Puki or have you been licensed from Capcom? Does this argument sound a bit ridiculous? Fan works that are transformative and you created your own from, from what? You obviously must been inspired by or had played Monster Hunter, right? So do you draw from a reference? Do you draw from "memory"?
AI doesn't have eyes, and yet in order to learn, it must be feed to its brain, what to learn from. Artists from around the world post on the regular to what ever sites they may be out there, these works are freely distributed, from Deviant Art to Twitter, and the like, as a human, I can see, and create a mental image, and memory of what I saw, and as an artist, transform that into new art. Would you complain if I took your art that is in this video and transformed it into my own? Probably not, but what if an AI did the same?
Because of how generative AI works, it can never create the images that they were trained on. Because it only guesses from the amount of noise it adds, and relates that back to textual inferences it can never fully match what it "sees". Humans are the same way too. I can never 1 for 1 recreate your art here. Even if I were to take a screenshot, it would be at a smaller resolution, details would be missing, and by my own hand, my style in muscle movements would be flawed compared to your work. This goes for anyother artist out there too. AI can't steal work, neither can a person that simply tries to redraw it themselves. Its silly to say otherwise.
