The problem with their well-intentioned approach is that it requires content consumers to click-to-determine, which just makes the AI beast bigger. Not a win. We will not be able to keep up, regardless of our AI spotting techniques. Regulation and pressuring legislators to act is my preferred approach. I consume far less content now that my attitude is 'if any particular content CAN be AI, then it IS AI.
