At my soon-to-be old DSP they treat us great. But every now and again during standups were told the scorecards looking great 👍🏾. But unfortunately amazons cracking down on metrics, even with a perfect scorecard amazon makes it harder for us to reach our goals. Whoever or whatever dispatches routes, absolutely hates it when you finish early. Simple no nonsense routes turn into a jumbled mess, from routes being flip-flopped in opposite order to stops intentionally slowing you down having you drive in circles all day back and forth on the same street. If its not that its constantly having to rescue at the end of your shift when you finish 4 hours early with 180+ stops and over 300 packages. If not that dispatch sends rescues at the beginning of the shift to lazy kiss asses who worked their way in to constantly get the extra board or rescue routes just to do nothing to people that tell me diddnt even need a rescue who had near nursery routes. Working as a dsp driver has been great and rewarding in its own ways, but the lack of hours coupled with the sometimes long days from shit routes and micro-managed schedules, not being able to work 6 days and schedules constantly trimmed for max profit these jobs should be fully automated at this point.
