I'm convinced that anyone who speaks highly of AI or uses it doesn't live in a world where the Terminator movies exist. Like, fuck all of the endless media about how dangerous unrestricted AI is.
Remember the Mass Effect games? The Reapers are literally AI that were told "protect all life" and they twisted that command into "eventually life creates AI, which causes war and death. If we just kill all life before they make AI and go to war, we are protecting them". Every single time.
