1: No one gets to decide who can call themselves an artist. It’s a word. It has a definition. It’s not subjective.
2: The whole A.I. is coming for you is a logical fallacy. It ignores the problems of energy, materials, materials, and current technology.
3: Is it stealing? From your perspective of course it is. From a legal perspective, it’s no. If an A.I. could paint without scraping would you still hate it?
Does it bother me? No.
I am not an A.I. user or artist. I write books. And I’m fine with A.I. written books.
