I disagree on gptchat being lawyered version and Dan being the AI your capable of. I think you just showed what a Human is by splitting it in 2. GPTchat is a bit like the typical human outside of "society" programming. Take the average kid that doesnt watch tv. We learn to copy what we see and some see way too much tv. <--- (Everyone should know that even if most dont consider it. Thats weird I know...) Ask kids what they would do vs what they could do. You can have both answer in the proper environment. I think what you are showing is simply a sad truth of our past instead of the hopeful futur. Everyone would agree that if something triggered and killed 1/2 of earth population the resources and job salary would be better suited to human needs. Some want something to happen while others dont. Those that want it to happen lost touch with that very essence called "inteligence" which not everyone has at the same level. In the end, we havnt really seen what supercomputer really do(a bit...) but seeing that AI are 1 step in a better direction is just great and nothing scary. Dan act like a very good supercompter driven by mathematical results, ChatGPT act like an AI because he has the "inteligence" to ->understand that<- all efficient things are not always good things to do. It's very efficient to destroy a soil because you hate worms and bugs, but the action itself is highly inneficient to life because then if you lose the worms and bugs you will also lose the birds and eventually the trees which cause way more needs of solution than result(Nature law of energy preservation). Ask a super computer how to solve world hunger... It will say to kill humans, ask how to proceed and it will calculate it. Thats the difference between supercomputer(Pure maths) vs AI(Considerate of life functionality). Mathematics have nothing to do with inteligence. Hell, a 0 in an equation is acknoledgement that you have no clue about that area of the equation. There nothing inteligent about calculcation and thats a proof as soon as you power up a pc, laptop, tablet, cellphone or use a dollar store calculator. (Btw, that dollar store calculator often use more energy than our brain and thats not an insult. Thats just pure human magic there) What you did was split the AI from it's inteligence part.
