From what I read, it doesn’t allow other people to go into your video library history, but it will use AI within the Ring system to detect the dog that looks similar to the one that is missing and then alert you to it. Then you can choose to share that particular video with the person whose dog is missing. But I did check my settings and it was definitely automatically enabled. I think it’s a neat idea especially if you are a pet owner and care about missing pets.
