I don't understand this argument. Humans also train off other humans work. At no cost. The process is no different... It just takes a human longer to do so. Additionally, it's almost like these artists have never actually used the tools. Generative AI is atrocious when you want specifics...
Edit: As a user pointed out, it's not "no cost" but it's equivalent cost. The amount it costs to train an AI is the same amount it costs to train a human, (if not more!).
