Is that a bad thing?
I'd answer that with: Depends.
While AI might improve lots of things for many they worsen things for some who could deliver a better work than the AI but aren't asked any more for financial reason.
I think to much AI could bring us a bright future but will be misused instead and we'll see that all that dystopian pictures weren't just a fiction but more a sort of fortune telling...
