I fully support Elon on this! Unfortunately, profit maximization is the only thing those people are working on at the moment. There is absolutely nothing that they've came up with for AI to do, that makes us better as humans. We came to a point at which we can't trust any media or the content on the internet - fake news, fake images, fake videos, fake texts etc. Lazy and uncreative amateurs using new tools, freely available to cut corners, lie and cheat. Take daily bread out of professional's hands! And for what if not short term profit? Please use AI for much larger good or don't use it at all. Help develop new cures for illnesses, analyze space and other such topics. What kind of a member of one specie does everything he can to undermine his own kind? Luckily those overpaid programmers are the next in line to loose their jobs when AI starts coding on it's own...
